TROY recognizes the importance of supporting local & state Law Enforcement agencies by providing reliable & effective firearms for their duty use. The DU replacement program has been established to ensure that Law Enforcement personnel have access to a loaner firearm if an officer utilizes their rifle during the execution of their duties and subsequently find themselves without it due to any reason, including evidence procedures. Troy will supply them with an equivalent loaner rifle until their duty rifle is returned.
In the event that a local or state Law Enforcement officer loses their rifle due to damage sustained in the line of duty, TROY will provide a replacement at no cost.
This policy is applicable to both personally acquired duty weapons and department-owned weapons procured from TROY.
