Summary: This team member assembles TROY accessories, including but not limited to sights and handguards. The Assembler ensures that production of all TROY components meets or exceeds manufacturing and quality standards. The Assembler follows procedures and maintains all safety, quality, cleanliness, and other standards and reports to the Lead Assembler. |
Responsibilities:
- Follows instructions of the Lead Assembler and TROY management.
- Ensures that materials at their workstation are available, orderly, set up, and safe before starting the operation/assembly.
- Keeps only the materials needed for the assembly at the workstation. Communicates with supervisor if more materials are needed or anything is or appears wrong with the materials.
- Maintains a clean and organized working environment at all times in the work area and throughout the building.
- Achieves set goals and meets given deadlines; communicates issues to the Lead Assembler right away.
- Collaborates with team members to improve safety, ergonomics, and quality.
- Follows all company policies.
- If necessary, take over other duties or responsibilities as required and instructed.
Requirements:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following work instructions.
- Experience in manufacturing environment or comparable military experience preferred, but not required.
- Individual needs to be able to communicate with Supervisor and Manager.
- Needs to be able to lift and move objects up to 40 lbs. and have hand dexterity for the assembly of some small parts.
- Unquestionable integrity and strong work ethic.
- Drug, alcohol, and smoke free workplace.
- Must be U.S. citizen and pass a background check.
